Thank you. Have you heard anything regarding the Deshaun situation? How real is it? Why won't Cal just give in? What does Easterby have over Cal? Why won't we do what needs to be done to fix the mess? Should be easy.
Hiring Jim Caldwell will not be the worst thing ever. He is a good play caller, he did a good job with the Ravens, and coached Flacco really well. He was in a bad situation with the crappy Lions, and he had one bad year with the Colts because they didn't have no one to back up Peyton Manning when Peyton Manning got injured. I think Jim Caldwell will do a good job with Deshaun Watson, and the team will be fine under him. I still prefer Eric Bieniemy, but Jim Caldwell will be a good hire if they get him instead.
Reports coming out this morning that Daboll is the “favorite” for the LAC job(which is no surprise since he was high school buddies with the GM or something). That now leaves the Texans and Eagles jobs. I’d be cool with Bienemy or Staley. Basically not even a single guy the Texans have interviewed or requested an interview with has taken a job anywhere. So I guess we will basically have our pick of the bunch
How "Texans" is it that we were the first to fire our HC and are probably going to be the last to hire a replacement?
Frazier...is known as a calming presence. Hilariously sad that the tweeter feels the need to point this out wrt the Texans.
So far this offseason we could possibly end up with Leslie Frazier as a head coach, lose Deshaun watson, and keep easterby. This might be the worst offseason any Houston team has seen in recent memory. Smdh....
Then they get to deal with all the backlash. “**** Cal and **** Easterby”. sorry, that wasn’t very Christian of me...
Reportedly, Calsterby didn't want to interview Bieniemy because of incidents that took place in in the 90s and early 2000s and good Christians wouldn't want somebody like that as their coach. Because you know the Bible says that people don't change and they should never be forgiven. I also remember Jesus telling his followers that they were sinless and were free to throw rocks and people who made mistakes. Or something like that. It's a really long book.
