Actually they are a bit related. Harden is not being stripped or bouncing it off his leg He is generally making either lazy or high risk passes Question: IF he throws a pass and it hits the person's hands but they fumble it Is it his turnover because the other person never got control of it? Rocket River
Whatever Harden has given me to complain about the effin traitor. Im still pissed about the trade request and how he is acting. So yup I will complain because im not a Harden cult member Im a Rockets fan. What are you harden cult members ever gonna stop complaining because other people have opinions different from your own?
If they’re not really related, then why is assist to turnover ratio a thing? And yes, “only” 4 turnovers a game. In 16-17, it was 11.2 assists and 5.7 turnovers a game. So far in 20-21, it’s 11.3 assists and 4 turnovers a game. Last year, 7.5 assists and 4.5 turnovers. The year before that, 7.5 assists and 5 turnovers.
"Harden is barely even trying. 21, 15, 15 points in the last 3 games. If he's ready to quit, trade him for Julius Randle."
ya what ever go back to green pasture I was s big rocket fan during the yao/tmac era and born raised near the dome, still am. I love how this harden clan member tells me where I need to be. Smh. Check into a clinic man.
They're already complaining he's not scoring enough lol. https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/harden-is-a-role-player-now.309575/
it's the most glaring example... i felt it best exemplified putting all our eggs in the Harden basket instead of being more diversified... so sorry if mentioning D12 triggered you... lol I'm not saying that D12 was gonna miraculously carry us to the finals... he may have flopped down the stretch same as WB did last year when Harden got double teamed (there a more current parallel - happy?) or turned to crap like our 0-27 shooters did down the stretch against GSW... point being... 1 guy prob aint gonna carry you to the finals... 1 guy n role players in a high risk high reward system... prob not... 2 guys might - if its the right 2 (Harden n CP3 almost did it - Harden/WB didnt...) but you prob need a good roleplayer or 2 to boot... All those may serve you well in the regular season, but typically you need more diversity when you hit the playoffs... Thats what I like about Silas (and what I disliked about MDA)... Silas is talking about a variety of different looks within a game and he seems to be about spreading the ball around... So I'm not ragging on Harden for dipping in his ppg - I'm appreciating it for the bigger picture...
If he would have just signed with Nike... the narrative would be different. Then again, Nike is rarely enthusiastic about showcasing Houston athletes.
He just sucks. There is nothing to trigger, its a bad argument. He was certain flop. He sucked every where after he left us. He's a glaring example of Harden being right. Agreed Yea prolly, but its a better shot than consistent mediocrity of "sharing the ball." Sure Our system works in the playoffs too tbh. Silas can say what he wants but so far his offense looks worse than Dantoni's the jury is still out on wether that will work in the playoffs. Boy....do I hope you are right..
I dont think yer seeing it right... putting all our eggs in the Harden basket was only ever gonna carry us so far - period. 1 guy can most often be taken out if the defense chooses to make that focus, so if you dont have some solid alternative plans then you are on fools errand regardless... You can just keep hammering the meal ticket throughout the reg season bc its your best option - but it aint gonna work out in the end... or you endure the growing pains to develop alternatives (albeit not as effective as your top option) but hopefully you find options to carry you through when your #1 option is neutralized. Just bc Harden was the best option doesnt mean we should have been content to make him the only option. May we have found the rest of the roster (D12 included) was crap and we had no other real options? sure, quite possibly... but at least then you got a decent draft pick instead of a first round exit. (fwiw that year we lost our pick by making the playoffs from the Ty Lawson trade - had we experimented and missed the playoffs we'd have kept it) How many games have our key personnel actually played together for? They need time to gel and get comfortable together - thats esp evident on defense... give 'em time... Offensively, implementing a variety of situational sets with a variety of moving parts is going to take more time than just telling everyone to stand on the perimeter and wait for the potential kick out on an iso... It's about being willing to endure the growing pains in pursuit of a better end product - something people that want stats and reg season greatness are not accepting of - they want instant gratification. I like our pieces... concerned about Boogie - but he's a 1 yr min contract add-on so whatever... I just wanna see the Harden saga concluded - either one way or the other - so we can solidify our foundation and not potentially be acclimating new guys again at the trade deadline or something... this year is truly a wildcard at this point...
