The Lakers and Celts in the 80's and 90's were the best teams that I have ever seen and the Showtime Lakers were the object of everyone's despise. I still remember the chants of "Beat LA" echoing in the Summit as Ralph Sampson's miracle shot found the bottom of the net.Clutchfans, we must will the Rockets to victory in Game 4! Stand and cheer for the whole game. "Beat LA!!" "Beat LA!!"
Though highly un-original, "Beat L.A." actually encourages your team to win, and messes with the Lakers' heads... I vote yes.
TIM: Is there any chance of anykind of promotion for today's game like yall had for Friday's game? I would definetly drive down to Houston if there is a chance to be apart of a promotion like the hair dye from friday's game. I wish I had tickets.
Yeah Tim. If there's something going on today. I'll leave my house right NOW and stand in line. I'm not gonna be 5 minutes late EVER again!
Whatever the PA announcer chooses to help the crowd start their chant, I suggest something with two syllables that we can use on any opponent. (It's easier to chant something with two rather than three syllables.) Some possibilities are (with emphasis on the first syllable): Rock-ets! Rock-ets! Rock-ets! Win, Rocks! Win, Rocks! Win, Rocks! Rock-em! Sock-em! Rock-em! Sock-em! Feng-Shou! Feng-Shou! Feng-Shou!
I think you guys should go for loud chants like "lakers suck" all game, but be relentless.....you can also "BOOOOOO" certain people like Karla, Shaq, and Kobe. My main thing is dont let up...even when someone scores, dont be "Shut up" For instance KObe catches the ball, start booing, even if he hits a crazy 20 footer as soon as it goes through the net, dont give him that moment of silence he so wants.... Just switch it up and say KOBE SUCK KOBE SUCKS!!! that would be the greatest...I would love to pass out literature or lead one of these types of chants if i lived in Houston!
That's OK, Rileydog... if you were like me, what you were "chanting" (screaming!) at the TV couldn't be reproduced here. And Beat LA!, extremely loud, would be great to add to the other things the crowd will be chanting. It was fun, back in the day, to hear the fans chanting it at about 100 decibels.
