Not necessarily, Harden could try to blow up the trade by letting the other front office know that there is no way he will re-sign after 2 years. The other teams on his list he can at least keep on a string like Khawi has been doing to the Clips.

 

Don't want to be San Antonio, who basically tried to screw kawhi and he got the last laugh. Keep harden until the no brainer comes or run out his contract.

 

CJ is terrible.

Basically Ego (in the games he can actually shoot), but with no defence at all.

The only 3 players worth considering as centerpieces (so far). But each of them would be "plus what?" to make the deal viable for Houston.

 

Not ideal, but I think you are going to be really, really disappointed by what we ultimately get back from any team. I'm going on record saying Jaylen Brown is the ceiling for the type of player we can expect back, plus pieces and picks.

 

Pretty soon the list will include the other 29 NBA teams plus some European and Chinese clubs.

I'm shocked so many here are surprised Harden would want to go to Portland!

The reason for that is really simple;
