It’s got to be Simmons of these guys. I love Siakam and Brown but Simmons is far superior to both of them. Simmons can basically play 5 out. Not sure about Siakam. I think Herro and the Heat are out on Harden so he doesn’t matter anymore. If I were ranking deals: 1. PHI - Simmons, Thybulle, Scott, Maxey 2. TOR - Siakam, OG, Powell, and picks for Tucker and Harden 3. BOS - Smart and Brown 4. DEN: MPJ, Harris, and Barton 5. SAC: Hield, Bagley, and Halliburton
What about Embiid as the centerpiece? Unless you plan to trade Wall, I don’t see Wall/Simmons working. Embiid Wall could be pretty good though. Probably has a shorter window, but I don’t think you can win around Simmons with his inability to even shoot free throws. Your ball handler can’t have the ball in his hands at the end of close games. It’s not like a center that is away from ball and “unfoulable.” anyone else think Embiid and wall could lead a team?
Brown was always the correct answer however Ainge will be stingy with his picks. At this point I’d accept any package with brown. Brown will fit well and Harden won’t last in Boston (culture, media and fans will eat him alive come playoff time)

Wall, Simmons and Wood isnt just fighting to get into the playoffs its top 4 seed in the West. They are gonna be cap strapped regardless as Wall is making 40M a year. Its a good start cuz Simmons only 24 and Wood is only 25. You essentially reset the clock to the time Harden first got traded to Houston.
