I doubt Nuggs let him go for just 2 2nd rounders at this point lol I think we are better off just rooting for Kurucs at this point the Bolbol MPJ ship sailed when we traded away Harden.
He can't move. He's unplayable in most situations. He continuously gets out run down the floor. He has no lateral quickness. Everyone just goes by him. If you play him then he immediately gets put in pick and roll and then blown by. Offensively, all he can do is stand at the 3 point line. Denver's offensive rating this season is 115.3. With Bol on the floor, their offensive rating drops to 99.2. Denver's defensive rating this season is 111.3. With Bol on the floor their defensive rating goes up to 130.8 For the year, Denver has a net rating of +4. With Bol on the floor their net rating is -31.6. Unless you're planning to play zone the entire time he's on the floor or this is a clever way to force the team to tank, Bol isn't much use.
Actually, he doesn't. Cousins, even today is way better than Bol. Why do you think that he only signed a 2 year $4.2M deal last November. His potential is very limited.
Yes, but he's always going to have the same body. He's all legs with an incredibly high center of gravity. I got to see him play against UH when he was at Oregon. Even the UH guards pushed him around. His center of gravity is just too high to allow him to hold position. His foot speed isn't going to get better. When he tries to change direction, it takes him a really long time. That's not going to get better with age. He's never going to be able to stay in front of any semi-athletic opponent.
His position seems to be as a backup center around the rim on defense, with a 3 point shot and some ball handling/ passing in the open court. He should have a better NBA career than his father, if he remains fit and healthy.
