if this is what you glean from 'supermodels and yoga instructors' I would have to question your thought process as you have sooooooooo misjudged my predilections... lol... perhaps you are projecting...? ;)

Rockets are playing it right. Try to work it out, if by the deadline things are not right then move him. This is a franchise altering move that depending on the wrong return, it could have negative ramifications for the next 5 years

Usually a rebuild is on the 5 year ball park if it actually works out. If the center piece fails in Simmons or Herros case you are looking maybe at a even longer rebuild yeah.

F his list. Trade him to the Suns for Booker.

We get a good player in return (who can actually shoot), and we get to laugh at him being stuck with CP3 again.

As much as people find it funny, you know CP would veto that trade so it's not even a possibility.

I just think it’s funny that he talks about going to a contending team, as though the Rockets would ship him somewhere without getting a major piece in return. Why the hell would Houston trade Harden without a young upcoming player and picks at the minimum? Now, if the Rockets were to trade him for a player like, say…Murray from Denver, then you pull the trigger.

So he wants to play somewhere that pays him ‘bucks’ and brings the ‘heat’....hmmmm

Unless you can provide evidence from a better source, then what reason is there to trust you?

    Only*

He signs an extension or he's traded.

Simmons + Thybulle are absolutely musts. We get a star and we replace Robert Covington with one move.

From there you add picks (they have most if not all of their future picks).

    you add swaps.

You add one more young guard. (I like Milton and he's tradeable now.) A lot of people like Maxey (I don't know when he can be traded due to rookie signing, TRADENBA has it at 1/1/21. I think it's sooner)

    So

Simmons, Thybulle, Maxey (everyone's favorite) 2 or 3 picks and 2 or 3 swaps for Harden and PJ Tucker.

    Wall / Maxey
    Gordon / McLeMore / Green
    Thybulle / House/Nwaba
    Simmons / Tate / Bruno
    Wood/ Cousins

we would have 5 new FRP minimum this offseason and are already a playoff team.

Trading him to Miami hurts our draft pick. OKC owns their pick and we get the worst of the three picks. A trade with Miami cannot be until next offseason when they can offer up Bam and Herro (they will if Harden isn't gone yet).

That's 13 rotation level players. Absolutely stacked to make a playoff run and flexible to add another star in the next year or so with those picks.
