if harden had Curry’s skin tone their would people begging him to stay. Hakeem was trashed during his trade request back in the day as well

I'm fine with Harden using the first day or two of training camp to make a valid point about the owner not sufficiently supporting the team's title aspirations over the last few years.

However, with the vague social media postings and the refusal to contact the new head coach, this is all seeming like a big passive-aggressive attempt by Harden to force a trade.

I've never liked it when a star athlete tries to force his way out of town, but the ones who actually outline their grievances to the press (like Kobe did) have my respect. If you're going to get on board, make sure everyone knows. If you choose not to, make sure they know that.

This current is-he-or-isn't-he nonsense is starting to wear on me.

Yeah, it's 2020! There's no such thing as racism any more. That **** was eradicated years ago!

This is why i no longer watch any games. Just follow the news.

Players get paid 30x more compared to 20 years ago and still complaining
Social media (everyone is posting how they feel)

these 2 ruined it for me.

and T-mac was the last straw that broke it for me.

I guess I just miss the 1990's era of basketball.

Thanks Apache. Your post is excellent.
TF needs to tell James he won’t be traded for any player that is of no use to the Houston Rockets under any circumstances.

Harden has said from the start, he wants championships.

So either build a championship team or trade him to one that will.

He has said this from day ONE and Morey loved him for it. So have we fans. Harden craves a ring.

But he has completely lost confidence in trust with Rockets after the losses of MDA and Morey.

He is putting pressure on Tilman to put up or SHUT THE F UP.

Let's see if TF and Stone can build that team or at least convince Harden that they are SINCERE and COMMITTED to this goal.

    Like Morey and MDA did.

Man, I know you are the consummate Harden apologist here. But give me a break. Being durable and being a great player (nobody is denying that about Harden) has nothing to do with attitude. You think Scola would pull a no show for training camp just to force the team to trade him?

And it is well known that Harden sometimes checks out in games for mysterious reasons. I don't want to argue with you about Harden because I know where it would go. No need to get worked up by just a hint of criticism about Harden.

I can agree with the premise. But I can also see that some of the moves that Harden co-signed have come back to bite us in the butt.
And as much as I love the dude, I wouldn’t criticize someone that questioned his desire at times. Specially in the playoffs.

I can be critical of Harden, but let's at least make the criticism honest.

I dont put you in the Harden hater camp on CF and I understand the frustration with Harden's actions/behavior but I dont believe he's being inconsistent.

When he is on the court, he gives it his all. Bad body language or not, he empties his bucket.

If it’s harden vs Tillman I am 100% harden and would actually relish in him making Tillman eat dirt. The thing is, he did the one thing which showed how much of a little b**** he is. His selfish on the court play manifests himself outside. To get paid 40 mil and party it up, leave your coach hanging not show up for work is as disrespectifl as it gets. He most definitely does not give it his all, he checks out repeatedly especially when he doesn’t get his way

actually it’s not. Look at how well rockets fans treated less talented players like scola, budinger, Kevin Martin, dmo and dragic and contrast that with how we treat harden on this board. And dragic and dmo in particular both left on bad terms. Yet they are still loved here

This here! If they trade Harden without even attempting to get a piece that truly will make them contenders I will say that this organization has gone down the tube! F' you Les for selling it to Tillman!
