    Or expand further:

ORL: Kelly Oubre, Pat Bev, Shake Milton + Rockets FRP
    LAC: Russ, Ennis, House
    PHX: Markelle Fultz
    PHI: Jrue, PG13, Darius Miller
NOP: Tobias Harris + 76ers FRP
HOU: Ben Simmons, Jonathan Isaac, Thybulle, Bamba

    6'5 Harden/6'3 EGo
    6'5 Thybulle (23)/6'5 Nwaba
    6'7 RoCo/6'5 PJ
    6'10 Simmons (24)/6'9 Bruno (25) - vet min
    6'11 Isaac (23)/7'0 Bamba (22)

    TMLE - 6'8 Josh Jackson (23)

This team would be insane on defense no matter the combination of players.

Russ isn’t leaving James and vice versa.

Trade Russ, might as well tear it all down.

Harden would have to average 50 for it to be even above average on offense

Simmons averages 25 if paired with Harden, easily. EGo should light it up as well when he is 100%.

And with this Rockets line up, team will lean in to the philosophy that defense creates offense. This entire rotation, not just starting 5, is ultra disruptive and would not lose a step going back and forth between switch everything and 2-3 zone.

And finally, the motion will allow more open looks at the rim in addition to the space beyond the arc created by the gravity and passing of Harden and Simmons.

And if Harden has to average 50 for a week or three, he's done it before. :D

I seriously doubt if Houston is involved in this.

    Update on Westbrook and Paul.

PG and Kawhi are not on the same page but they are working with each other. PG wants Westbrook back and feels like Westbrook would be perfect. Kawhi wants Paul and he's all in for Paul.

OKC wants to trade him to Phoenix but CP3 interest in Phoenix is massively overstated. Yes, CP3 would rather be a Laker but they have no realistic shot of getting him due to the salary cap while LAC does. Westbrook wants to go to LAC but LAC as you can imagine wants Paul more. Ultimately, this comes down to Paul although OKC wants Phoenix instead for so many obvious reasons. They made a promise to Paul to send him where he wanted to go.

The bottom line is Westbrook is fighting for that spot. I was told Westbrook does want a culture change. He felt there were some malcontents and he would like to see a house clean. Harden hasn't put out there that he's ready to go, he just wants to see the team get better. Like the Athletic article, Houston is a mess culturally right now and we know who it all starts with. That said, Westbrook wanting out is overstated.

And yes, Phoenix better win next year or Devin will want out.

What's crazy is Houston would like to do the Westbrook-LAC deal. They feel like it would make them a better team after the fact. I think it would too. Lou Will, Pat Bev, Zubac, and Kabengele is a no brainer for Houston. On top of that, the Horford/Thybulle deal is in still works. I don't like it for LAC. I can say that much. The vibe my guy is getting, LAC FO doesn't like it as much either.

Almost forgot but he mentioned Houston has interest in Griffin/Kennard from DET for Gordon/Tucker deal as well. Not that DET has interest, just that HOU is also looking into that possible deal. HOU is looking everywhere, that's facts.

    Detroit players are weak defenders.

Trade Russ, we have everything in place. Just trade him for a good haul. That's all you gotta do.

I like the idea of flipping Gordon for Griffin (much higher ceiling) but get Tucker out of that trade and put House in there.

How would they make salaries match?

Blake Griffin makes damn 36 million. Gordon and Tucker doesn't cut it...
