I wonder if we could even make it work if we had Lebron James on our team. Somehow, it would still probably be a broken system.

Exactly, Harden got doubled like we've never seen before. The whoooole series, I dont think I've ever seen anything like this.

Geez, Harden has many faults, but if you are clowning on him for this game idk what to say. Nobody else even pretended to come to play.

 

I think he’s proven him and his system can only take a team so far. There’s a reason why he was a lame duck this year.

I can't figure which team has the most scrubs ? Is it the Scrubros or Scrubets ? Well, when I think about it, the Stros actually have a player named Scrubb...so, they win !

 

Yup , history will look back and realize that DM has been hamstrung his entire time here.

If the knicks were smart enough to hire him then they'd be perrenial favorites

 

doesnt matter who the coach is-as long as james harden is the "leader" of this team, expect the same outcomes every year-no title

 

We would probably make him shoot 12 threes per game. Decent 3 point shooter, but shoots 26% as a Rocket.

 

We might have to trade James...., like as long as Westbrook is on this team, we arent winning anything.

 

Welp... where do we go from here ya'll? Keep the same core/philosophy & try to re-tool or blow this **** up & try a complete overhaul??
Is this core of Harden/Russ enough to win it all? Wouldn't bet on it but let's see what they do

 

Lebron is basically the head coach of any team he plays for.

He wouldn't allow this gimmick ball to ever be played.

 

I completely agree. The Rockets should use switching as their primary defense, but go with other defenses when necessary. The Rockets had the personnel to use a lot of man defense against OKC, but, instead, they kept being burned by switches that allowed dribble penetration by Schroder, Paul and Gilgeous-Alexander.

 

I think he did have some awful luck with those suns teams and the CP3 injury, but overall I wouldn't really disagree.
