Got to say, I am shocked that they allowed this kind of disunity to get out to the public. really hope they decide to play on
was it a players only meeting? i'm curious how it ended so "ugly" that the LA teams decided to straight up walk out. Maybe that was where the tide was going with TOR and MIL, but then why does the meeting have an ugly end?
There's nothing wrong I guess with his actions here but hopefully he can think of the hypocrisy and do things differently going forward. He certainly hasn't given a **** about other groups rights when his $$$ have been involved.
There’s contracts and television revenue If ESPN and Turner don’t get the games that they paid the nba for They could sue the nba for breach of contract .
My assumption is they don’t plan on staying. So, if they want to continue playing without them, they can continue the conversation without them to figure out how to work it.
Another point here. Yes these are millionaires they dont have to work. But the lives you are affecting here are more than just millionaires. Alot of working people in the nba are now potentially out of a job for the foreseeable future. Its really sad and pathetic to me. Im sorry. This does absolutely nothing.
man this feels like the free agency open period, trying to refresh all the news coming from the meeting lol
Get as involved as they do when they want a local municipality to spend hundreds of millions building their teams new stadiums.
im from europe, so i dont get americans; arent everybody with opinion free to join political party in us? if i boycott my work, i wouldnt get paid. i hope all boycotters loose money.
probably to use their wealth and power to help make a change for minorities which their league mostly employs.
like Lebron would walk out from a ring. lol He's just playing the diva to make the owners act. Like a trade they leaked it to the press to see what the other party can come up with in the negotiations.
yea, i understand that they might be viewed as heroes because of this, thats why i said that i hope they loose money.
@J.R. probably you already posted but You add this plus the revenue loss from China be careful what you wish for LeBron. There are also CBA agreements involved here.
I'll believe LeBron is honest about boycotting the rest of the season once he packs up and leaves the bubble.
I really have no idea what the players expect the owners to do. Make a statement? Fund a foundation? is that supposed to do something? I mean anything short of some kind of weird unity pledge to fight against Trumps re-election will sound hollow to the left. I really have no idea what they expect.
of course he is; no way he could be champion with that shitty fakers this year, so he pulls this stunt
