of course, but for me i just don't consider tc much of a factor. that just speaks more towards the facility itself

I like this rockets team playing to shut crowds up, rather than having to try to get your own crowd to be loud

 

No. They shouldn't have been up by 30 points to begin with. We were shooting around 4/37 from the 3pt line with their starters still out there.

If we shot as well as they did from the 3pt line, we win this game. The difference was the 3pt shooting tonight. Don't make out that Clippers made some kind of statement tonight and that they're going to stomp us in the playoffs.

I hope we match them again, because I think we can beat them.

I'm numb too....unbelievable. When was the last time we shot under 10 threes in a game. I hope the Rockets got this game out of their system.

The refs had a good game with all the fouls they called. Both teams shot a total 57pts of 75 FTs

 

Clippers shot 32% from 3...let’s not act like they were shooting lights out

Paul George only had 13 points...Lou Will had 5

We were down by 30 with 6 minutes left...

Wake up call for the playoffs; Rockets are not likely going far. If they keep playing like they did tonight they could drop in the standings and out of the playoffs. Look at the standings, it is possible. Unthinkable a week ago.

 

It was cruel of the bench to finish the game so well...made me think "where the f*ck was that energy for the first few quarters?" One of the shittiest games I've had the displeasure of watching. Not the score itself, but the bricks, carelessness, bad defense. That was not fun. But as a few of us here have said already, it's just one game. One terrible, horrible, no good, very bad game.

Smallball works. And it can work against the Clippers. You can quote me on that if we meet up with them in the playoffs. Nothing is guaranteed in a 7-game series, but I have no doubt we can beat them.

Some of my friends are talking a lot of **** right now...mostly bandwagon GS fans (and now Lakers fans again). We'll see who gets the last laugh.

The Rockets better be mad as hell after this one. They owe us that much, at least.

 

as I said, clippers knows it's a long season (learned from the tricky pop), coasting n playing a underdog role for a half reason is a good strategy.
now it's time to show off their muscles.

This is how you beat us. The Knicks did it the other night and the Clippers did it tonight. Expect every other top team to do it from now on. The only way I see us winning games if Harden goes into carry mode and starts being consistent from the 3pt line again.

I did bring this up before we went on that streak and before the small ball. Clog the paint and let Westbrook shoot and he's not as effective. Yeah, he may hit one or tough layups against you, but he're most likely going to pass it out. His best chance of scoring points is on the fast break. Put all your sole attention on Harden and pray he misses from the 3pt line and you probably beat the Rockets.

I would love for the small ball to keep working, but if you don't have a good 3pt shooting team, you're going to struggle.
