That may be a TINY WINY bit compelling if they didn't already have Adams/Kanter/Sabonis, plus our 1st would be very late with the addition of a top 5 player.

Again I don't think the trade proposal matter much, nobody is going to gut their team if WB won't re-sign, he likely chooses a team he wants to go first, then that team can muster up whatever they have/want to.

And we can't offer the 5th yr and more $ as enticement because we used that on Harden, right?

Harden agreed to sign an extension before he came?

I like the idea of Bledsoe or Rubio in Pringles system.

Either guy gives the Rockets a very strong starting starting five and a top bench in the league with guys who would/have started on winning clubs.

I don't think the talent on the team that reached the WCF. We just need Pringles to pull it together and give him a few chips he needs. PG is crucial

He doesn't solve our issues, but he could bolster the position on the cheap: Jarrett Jack

Perhaps the third time will be the charm: how about Aaron Brooks?

If we sign another UFA, that's who I want.

7.4 assists per game is nothing to ignore. He just shoots too much.

Don't know if this would work, but I would go all in on a trade with the Suns. They seem to be going on a youth movement so we could help clear their cap. Lets trade for Bledsoe, Chandler, and PJ Tucker for Brewer, KJ, Decker, and trade exception. We would add shooting, defense, and depth throughout our lineup. Pg: Bledsoe, Beverley,GP3 Sg:Harden, Gordon. Sf: Ariza, Tucker Pf: Anderson, DMo, Beasley. Center: Chandler, Cappella, Nene. Still have Onaku and Harrell to make 15. We may not compete against Golden State's star power, but we would have more depth to keep pace.

Without even looking at the salaries, I can tell you they don't come close to matching up. But the biggest issue is the massive difference in talent. You're basically suggesting that the Suns would take the Rockets trash for arguably their best player and two starters.

I do think there's a deal to be made with Phoenix for Bledsoe, but it's going to have to be a HELL of a lot better than that.
