I agree with the premise , but at the same time Tilman is always blabbering About how he’s willing to go al in etc ...

At some point you just have to say put up or shut up . The fact is , whether or not there was some grand deal to be made , we have have made cost cutting moves .

You could argue that’s smart if the improvement was marginal , but we traded seconds to dump Ennis who played playoff minutes for Philadelphia. Could he have stepped up when House was playing like crap ? Who knows ? But the point is we didn’t have him .

We have moved , rather than kept as trade assets several larger contracts . And we gave up assets to move off of them early instead of waiting .

While realizing we are going full throttle on this small ball stupidity... we need some kind of option regarding a conventional center... and MDA has shown no willingness to utilize iHart...

Yes, but getting a 3 and D impact player at the wing was the most pressing need. They had the opportunity to do it, and they had to take it. No, it's not absolutely ideal, but they now have the biggest need taken care of.

Bobby Portis is worth monitoring -- 24-year-old floor-spacing 4/5 with a 7'2" wingspan; defensive liability, but has tools to be better. Winning, vet-driven environment can only help.

we are currently $6M under the taxline. we are now minimum 5 seasons away from ever having to worry about some repeater tax. every single trade transaction done during the tilman era (more than a dozen) has sent out more annual salary than received back. how in the *** can you defend this steaming pile of shiit??!

Where are all of the posters saying some of us needed to eat crow when the owner spent $$? I got some hot plates to dish out.

Calvin probably learned a lot about the big man position from big Moses, so IT could work at C under Calvins training.

So predictable. I will write you another headline - with no one available in the buyout market, we did all we could.

And I will write you another headline - we thought RoCo would give us the best chance under Coach Dantoni

    Might get bought out:
    BIsmack Biyombo, C, Charlotte Hornets
    Tristan Thompson, C, Cleveland Cavaliers
    John Henson, C, Cleveland Cavaliers

    Nothing exciting out there.

We are blaming Tilman for refusing to use multiple options to improve the team (MLE's, TE's, adding more salary via trades), a potentially contending team, because he doesn't want to fully invest. You can't win in this league trying to trim margins. When you have a potential contender that is the time to spend $$. You know what this deadline and the past few have shown us...tradeable salary can be used to improve your team. No one is saying spend $$ for the hell of it. Spend $$ to fill out your roster, which clearly needs talent, or to accumulate players that can later be traded. As opposed to using your assets to clear salary and save $$, when the goal should be winning.

Anyone that can't understand that simply doesn't want to.
