The difference is, Harden and Westbrook are friends whereas CP3 and Harden didn't want to work together anymore.

I understand why you think they may have not gotten sufficient minutes, but from what I saw, they were both a negative when they were on the floor on both sides of the ball in limited minutes. Most disappointingly for me was defensively. Tyson gave up several layups and didn’t even contest them most of the time. Russ threw him a lob once that he didn’t even jump for. There was a layup line going on when he was in the game and his main contribution is supposed to be defense and rebounding.

I want both of those guys to play well, but yesterday they failed in the limited minutes they were given and the result was MDA lost trust in them and didn’t play them.

 

Westbrook is not going anywhere laughing out loud. Look when he scored 40 against the clippers everybody was happy . The guys had a bad game so what. The real focus should be on the coaching or lack there of. The players are fine

Russillo has zero sources. "Some people around the league believe....." Dissect that phrase for what it is. It's just baseless conjecture that isn't rooted in anything. Isn't it convenient that he brings this up after one of Westbrook's worst outings in a Rockets uniform?? Where were these "people" just 3 days ago when the Rockets and Westbrook looked like they were one of the top contenders in the league?? Oh, that's right, Russillo is just one of the countless media hacks who are just paid to flap gums with no facts. The Rockets are not actively shopping Westbrook, they are 21-10 and are still a team nobody wants to face in the playoffs, and James is thrilled that Russ is here. Those are the only FACTS that matter.

Noticed this too with chandler. It bothered me because on that failed lob the announcers called it a “horrible pass to nobody” or something like that but it was actually a good play and the right read. Defensively it felt like small ball because he just watched guys lay it in without an attempt to contest the shot.

 

Probably can't sell it to Harden but the LTS can certainly be sold to Tilman

 

Regardless of how dumb this is and how much I love morey this makes us look so crazy.

Well guys, it is already news the speculation of an insider assumption that by the way does not have any type of information is already everywhere I think that although it is lies this may be present in Westbrook even if it is not true this can affect both Harden and us fans that we should know that this will happen our team will not be relevant for years unfortunately hopefully not

The trade as constructed makes little to no sense.

Moving on from Westbrook makes some sense at least. The irony of Harden almost begging for another playmaker back in the day was that ultimately once MDA showed up they instituted a system which really only required one playmaker anyway. Combine that with a league that is just overrun with quality guards, and you end up with this "heliocentric" or whatever tf folks are calling it... so that if it was at least remotely possible to move Westbrook and get back a combo of legit 15+ ppg type 3&D bigs/forwards and draft picks, assuming EGs health, it could make some sense.

But this isn't close to that.

There's not a lot of legit hypothetical packages even that are.
