He was awful but not this bad. He's also the only reason we have Tilman. He took the highest bidder and even gave him a loan on it.
it's his prerogative to sell to whoever he wants. it's our prerogative to be happy about it. Les was cheap with the team, sold them out to China and was rarely at games. Tilman is cheap with the team, always at games front and center and always being hands on to a fault. I dislike the narrative because one sucks they both can't suck.
Bad teams usually boil down to the owner. Ranadive, Jordan, Sarver, etc. Rockets clearly have 1 leg in that ball park. The worst of the worst are the children of the wealthy (Dolan, the Buss kids)
This might be a rare exception to my "don't work for your parents" rule. Ahh, 24 yrs old. If only I'd understood that rule back then, my life would be infinitely better. Or having a billionaire father would've also worked.
One possible solution: If the economy tanks (and they always do at some point), Tilman might find himself needing to unload a business just to keep his other businesses afloat. And what business will hold it's value even in a recession? Yep.
Are you trying to convince me why my joke is partially flawed? You wouldn't be doing that if we were undefeated.
Morey's had a nice run, but this roster is flawed. Tiny Wing players, erratic shooters, too many indifferent defenders and a coach who won't ever stop going small make this roster too flawed to succeed.
Dolan said it himself, owning a NBA team is great, but sucks and is a living hell when you're a trust fund kid because everyone hates you. Dolan and Buss are perfect example of trust fund kids
Right. If Tillman does clean house and give run of the franchise to his 24 year old son fans have the right to lose interest and actively root for the family to sale the team.
