He gave up three runs. Not great but not horrible. The Stros should be able to overcome three runs. I will agree though he did poorly for Justin Verlander but most pitchers in the league would be OK with only giving up three runs.
I dont know about Greinke. Max VS Grienke is worrisome. Wish it was cole. Time for Greinke to show verlander how to pitch in the world series
Rendon had a mediocre World Series before tonight. Correa has had monster postseason performances and a ring to boot. He’s not having a good postseason but let’s not forget what he did in 2017.
I turned it off. They are playing a rerun of game two anyway. Astros outplayed in every phase of the game. Better hope Scherzer gets spasms again, otherwise, it is going to be lights out tomorrow. Greinke will get smoked. Weirdest World Series I have ever seen.
Anybody that has faith that the Astros will game 7 are better people than me. Their home performance has been as bad as it gets. Verlander choked two games, the bullpen imploded and the lineup was as feeble as it gets after the first inning. Just a monumental choke job. There's no two ways about it.
Also Max had incredible neck pain yesterday... either that was a lie to save him for game 7 or its unlikely he's gonna be 100% tomorrow. If he legit had pain I think we get to him
Getting 2017 vibes here... except we’re playing the role of the juggernaut Dodgers. This team better show up focused tomorrow and give it their all.
Greinke is a savy veteran who knows how to pitch out of trouble. We aren't getting 7 innings out of him though.. I'm more worried about our bats. 2 runs aren't going to cut it.
Who do you trust less: Greinke or the bats? Greinke's gonna have traffic. Bats must come alive. Tomorrow or never.
