That’s exactly what the CCP wanted to tell it’s own people.

Everything negative happened is a conspiracy arranged by the western evil powers and every words they said or every action they took is planned for only one goal - to take down the Chinese government and destroy your life.

You know that majority of the Chinese people don’t trust what they have seen from CCTV news for local Chinese news because they seldom or never broadcasting anything negative, you guys only go for the facts from Weibo or wechat because you do believe those are more authentic because those news are coming from normal real people without any agenda.

So how come the same logic will not apply when CCTV or the other China media will broadcast nothing but negative about the outside world and you will always go along with this idiotic conspiracy theory?

Open your eyes and also your mind to think.

Why would average Chinese be sensitive over HongKong? Why is national integrity so important to them that they genuinely feel "hurt" over this tweet? I'm not talking about state media position here but an average Chinese person. Chinese immigrants in America are not sensitive about HongKong, so this is just brainwashed nationalists then getting up in arms and the government Twitter bots?

PS. We have a bunch of Californians clamoring
to secede and no huge majority is having something akin to emotional breakdowns over it

Not as many as in Texas, Alabama, Mississippi that wanted to Secede when Obama was in Office. They didn’t like a Black Man as President.

They spent 8 years trying to prove he was born in the US of A

I personally think people living in one party system with no option to speak up and let their true opinion out in the open are jealous of Morey for being able to do so and that's where this "hurt feelings" emotion is coming from. Just a hunch

It's a sick system they live in. A lot of them probably can't fathom that Morey can feel a certain way and ignore his materialistic agenda because of those feelings/principles.

If China had ignored your peaceful protests over basic human rights for almost 20 years, how exactly would you escalate? I’m curious.

keep in mind, peaceful protest has not worked, and your enemy has already escalated by suppressing your representation and allowing them to be exported like animals.

    What are your suggestions?

I think TF is dumb enough to fire Morey. This thing is blowing up in a big way and now it seems that the Rockets are hemorrhaging money. I could see Morey being fired, but I really hope not.

Funny you go full conspiracy theory on my single mention of "Motive"

One simple curiosity, it's like shouting to the neighbor that he's got one ugly wife on their wedding anniversary, and the neighbor happens to be in some lucrative business with you. You don't like each other and wife is not a looker, it's a fact, they all know it, but why doing it?

    Your example is beyond laughable.

    1. Twitter is NOT your territory, go back to your stated controlled social media if you want to have censorship. Morey has every single forking rights to express what he want to say on Twitter.

    2. He did not point out you have an ugly wife (see that’s exactly your problem, your values on many things are only focus on power, money and looks), HE POINTED OUT YOU ARE HAVING A FORKING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ISSUE ON YOUR WIFE.

U mean the same government that brought over a billion people out of poverty? The ccp is far from perfect, but they done a damn good job for its people. Where were u when the Chinese were starving, killed and treated like second class citizens?

I witnessed first hand over the last two decades working China the change that the ccp have brought to China and its citizens. In terms of Hong Kong, u guys really should go there and see t he violent riots first hand

I don't see any positive to firing Morey. I don't see the outraged Chinese coming back. Maybe they stop screaming so hysterically, but they will hold a grudge and they have decided to move on.

Firing Morey only creates an outrage with Americans in addition to the outrage the Chinese feel. Its compounding one misstep with another.

IMHO I think the most positive matter is that they were the main force of driving the Japanese fascists out during WW2.
But it is capitalism now and new issues.

It's interesting to me how much you guys credit them for this considering all the other governments in the region that did the same and did so decades earlier.

    Masterful PR.
