And I would argue that he isn't good at evaluating value for players. Over the years he has dumped 1st round picks for 2nd rounders, etc. He traded beverly, montrez, etc for a noose of a contract in a 34 year old Paul. He caught a big break in Harden, but years through the lottery may have turned something around as well. His main asset is ability to stay under the cap, dump salary, and make sure the team is competitive enough to sell tickets. If I was a team owner and I was operating the team as a business, which I likely would (the whole "owners need to just care about winning is naive") I would 100% hire Morey. From a fan's perspective he is pretty mediocre however.

That is my objective assessment of the guy. If I had the ability to fire him right now, I wouldn't . We wouldn't be able to find somebody better, but at the same time I acknowledge that he's not some messiah like you guys make him out to be

Ive never seen you or a lot of people on here break down film ever or talk about plays? Do you know how to evaluate players, know what their worth is? Can you do that? No. I dont think you can.

We had two years as contenders. It was risk and we took it. Do you understand that we had the franchise records in wins and were up 3-2 on the GOAT team? Like we had to do that deal and sign that contract. Good lord man. Hes always been aggressive and sometime the risks dont pan out. It sounds to me like you are the one whos okay with mediocrity. Weve been a top 5 team in the NBA for the past 5 years now. Morey has done everything he could to give us the best team possible. Lol and btw, we were never allowed to tank cause the owner wouldnt let him.

My objective assessment of your objective assessment is that you dont know enough and need to think about context a little more. Im not saying hes a messiah, i know hes not perfect. What I will say is that hes done a lot more good for this franchise than bad and at worst, hes an above average GM.
