Damn. Not good, now we have to beat them in 6 and not 5 again!? Seriously though, Jazz are going to be a problem nest year. They have an incredibly well balanced team. Wouldn't shocked me if they were 55+ wins and top 3 position next year
solid pickup. looks like every other teams are improving their rosters.. Rockets just running it back...SMH
I actually really like seeing mid-tier playoff teams make the leap to potential contenders . . . just not the Jazz. Damn.
They quietly got real good. If Donovan Mitchell cant take them to the conference finals, then he's just an overacted talent.
Eh...their best players against us were Rubio, Favors, and Crowder. They replaced them with a 31 year-old, injury-prone Mike Conley and a not-great on defense Bojan Bogdanovic. Not sure how they stayed the same defensively or got deeper.
Quit downplaying this man. They improved an already good team with what they were lacking. Did you even see rubio vs us last year? He was a joke. Conley can shoot. Bogdoanovic can reeeeaally shoot. They already had a good front court with ingles and gobert. and now mitchell actually has backcourt help. They are much better.
I saw Rubio, he was one of their better players in the playoffs against us. Ingles was a complete no-show, Mitchell showed up for one game, and Gobert was eaten up by Capela before Clint got sick. I’ll stand by my statement that Favors, Crowder, and Rubio were their 3 best players in that playoff series. They’re losing all 3 of those guys. Not really scared of this team with who they are replacing them with. They may be able to score more, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be better. Don’t get me wrong, I think they needed to shake things up, but I’m not sold that they are significantly better overall.
oh you talking about the rubio who shot 42 percent overall vs us and destroyed them by shooting 20 percent from 3? that rubio? He was trash. Jazz fans were screaming bloody murder to get him off the court and get rid of him this offseason Crowder had 1 good game. Favors played well. Take a break. You are saying some dumb stuff
Definitely makes the Jazz better, but $18 million a season for Bojan Bogdanovic? They’ll regret that contract in a few years.
