It's sad of all this excitement over some undrafted player who is going to be in our Summer League and then will get cut by regular season opener.
...just so Morey can say he didn't sit out the draft? "This? This is our big splash?" "Tilman, we really didn't have a lot of options here." "That's it, Daryl---no more 20% off Landry's or Saltgrass until you produce!" "Does that include Babin's? 'Cause I really like the gumbo----" "GET OUT!"
for all we know we coulda just grabbed the next nate robinson lol its the unknown potential thats exciting
Strictly based on this video... + Seems to have excellent "feel" for the game, a natural scorer + Versatile offensive move set, looks comfortable creating from anywhere on the court + Healthy shooting form (could use more rotation on the ball) - Clearly undersized and not particularly strong, will get bumped off course at NBA level - Explosiveness is average at best - Court vision / passing looks average, a hindrance for someone his size Unknown: Defense, though he doesn't appear to have the physical gifts necessary to excel on that end in the NBA. My guess is he never sees a meaningful minute for us. After all these years, I know better.
I haven't seen any Daryl Morey bromides / platitudes / clichés about last night's draft, anywhere. Has he finally just thrown his hands in the air? "I'd say the same thing as the last 3 years, anyway"?
I wonder if Hartenstein and Clark will play in summer league, should be a fun team. Hartenstein Clark Edward Frazier Ponds
Undrafted free agents are not championship game changers. Players 7-15 on a roster are not championship game changers. You still have to build a good roster because eventually the sum total of your guys will end up being a championship game changer. C'mon Clutchfans.
