Sounds like Mike wants more than a one year extension, which he isn’t worth. Trying to get more $$ on that final season.

*Sigh* Well we won't be winning a title anything soon if Mike is at the helm. A MDA coached Rockets team will NEVER win a title. The man is just too stuck in his ways and there aren't any realistic paths to upgrades sufficient enough to win playoff series in spite of him. Look forward to Kerr spanking his ass for the duration of this extension.

Lol the agent is talking a big game .

Tilman is getting taken to the woodshed for "mis-representing" the negotiations

Does anyone wanna revisit this so-called "agreed upon" trade with Mem where we got screwed ?

More likely it's tilman talking out of his ass .

Yeah tils , temple and green would have been GREAT , but I'm 90 percent sure the deal didn't get done because you preferred the move to stay under the LT

Like how it was an “accident” when we got under the luxury tax.

He’s a liar, plain and simple.

This is embarrassing lol. This is all Tilman. Get your **** together and commit or don't commit, stop with the BS game. It's not a good look for the franchise.

It is pretty funny that they tried to go behind the agent's back. If I were DAntoni I'd find it really disrespectful and just tell them to **** off.

We're going to have our pick of star players who don't mind an owner that pinches pennies and misrepresents in negotiations constantly.

who’d really want to sign here honestly. We are right with the lakers as far as management dysfunction. Just fire mike and be done with it. How can he go into this season trusting this team, how can the players trust this management. It’s a mess.

Not to argue, but I would like to ask(and please answer if you can think of one) but is there a team out there that when there number 1 goes cold that they have different options besides having their number 2 step up. Is there a team like that? Cause if you dont have a second dude and your number 1 guy is having problems than I just dont see how you win.

Don't exaggerate. Yes, the Rockets are going through a minor crisis trying to figure out a path forward, but we are far from the Lakers dysfunction.

I'm not happy with how the team is handling their business right now since this could affect us getting solid assistants and role players.

    Yes and no.

Basically, you need one of these two things:

    1) A secondary creator who can just create points or assists in a different way than your first one. The way they do it is important. If Harden can't create, then it's highly likely that whatever defense the defense is throwing at him would easily thwart Paul as well. What you need in that scenario is something like a Draymond or Batum or Gasol. Someone who can create from the high post or push like crazy in transition, attacking the opponents defense in a different dimension. You could clearly see both the Rockets and Bucks were starving for someone like that.

    2) 1 or 2 elite catch and shoot guys and excellent ball movement. This is the reason the Warriors and Spurs are always good at overcoming injuries. Excellent ball movement paired with excellent catch and shoot players can do a lot to band aid a situation for a limited period of time. Not a whole series, but definitely for quarters or games at a time.

I feel like Cp was that last year, and even to a degree this year. People game planning against Harden should allow Cp to go to work on the floor, it happend a lot last year. Not to mention Cp was eating bench units alive. Unfortunately this year....it was very much not so. :(

    2. Yea agreed.
