Its just a fact. Im not sad it is what it is. Hes got courage and harden doesnt. I wish id be more like kawhi in these moments, but honestly 99.9 of people are harden, and thats the difference. It is what it is.
Warriors knew ISO ball doesn't work against them (even though Rockets fans keep delusionally saying it did); that's why they weren't really that scared of volume-shooting Harden and the Rockets.
You can be a clown like @BasketMAD and say it's cause they're not playing iso ball or you could watch the games and see that they're winning because of their incredible team defense and the fact that KD hasn't stepped foot on the court this series. But sure, great thread OP. Great case you made with all those supporting points.
So Kawhi is better after he Put up a putrid game 1 and got carried to a victory by his team which harden didn’t have the luxury of Lost game 2 at home against a Durantless gsw Won game 3 against a Durant less klayless looneyless gsw putting up a statline that was hardens average for the series. I love Kawhi. He’s honestly my favorite player. But you’re comparing apples to oranges.
Still the same thing. There's nothing wrong with having the second best player in the NBA. Kawhi is dominating defensively. Kawhi is dominating offensively. Kawhi is not shying away from the moment. It is what it is. I love watching James, I love that he's a Rocket. He's not better than Kawhi though when the lights are brightest.
This board (well thread...) sucks. What do you say about Leonard basically quitting on the Spurs (not that I care, hah), but then luckily landing on a team in win-now mode? And then... Meeting the Warriors with like 10 all stars instead of 13, hahah. The only thing I've gathered is that... the Raptors probably would have beaten the Rockets, and the Rockets best shot was last year. With that said, once Leonard leaves Toronto... We'll see how it goes in the West. I think he's a great player, but Toronto was basically able to save him for the playoffs. Unfortunately Harden doesn't get that luxury.
you'd be saying the same thing if kawhi lost in 5? you would rather have that then James losing in 7 last year or 6 this year? makes sense
Let’s see what happens when Kawhi plays with a 6’5 center and 4 scrubs like Harden had to every game against GS. Give Harden Gasol, Lowry, Siakim, and Ibaka to run with and then we can talk. The Rockets continue to play the midget offense in the biggest games and then wonder why they get hammered on the boards and guys like Looney go off on them. For heavens sake, we make the game so complicated in Houston!
What doesn't make sense, is you reaching about me saying I'd rather this or that. When nothing of the sort was even mentioned. What are you playing at bro hahaha.
Showing no emotion is good when it comes to the playoffs. Complaining about calls shows that an opponent has beaten you. Maybe Harden should play emotionless.
