I hate this from the owner. There’s enough pressure on Harden already. When Tillman says stupid crap like this, he’s only setting the expectations that much higher on a guy who is killing himself to bring a title to Houston. Harden will eventually burn himself out on Houston if he feels like the franchise is putting too much on him.
I mean what else is he supposed to say. He's the owner, he has to say those things. Barring some drastic offseason moves, this team will not be competing for a championship next season. I can see Harden spending one more year here and if things don't go well (which they probably won't), he will probably ask for a trade...

I will give him the benefit of the doubt one more time. Maybe this year was about resetting the clock on the repeater tax. Now maybe he authorizes a go for it luxury tax be damned for the next couple years. Or maybe he is just letting his mouth write checks his ass can’t cash.
