    Yup

And the only thing we can hope
To change is the coaching part

GS was down a star and played like a team last night .

That play to get the last klay 3 was beautiful and everyone touched the ball

MDA doesn't have plays like that .

ISO basketball doesn't work in the playoffs. Kobe is proven right. His style needs to play but it wont. This is Harden. This is Morey. These two won't win a title.

Spot on post! People can blame Harden all they want but this team just doesn’t have the talent and size to beat Golden State. Everything you pointed out is true.

It works if your best players have that killer instinct to close out games when you need it. Unfortunately, the rockets don’t have that player

Agreed on the instinct. But the Rockets form of ISO everyplay and wait till 7secs to launch a 3 doesn't work. Its dumb and everyone knows it is coming. The crunch time basketball since Harden and MDA found Hero ball is cringeworthy

It does suck. But the truth is your best player is an isolation heavy player with his limitations in the playoffs. That isn’t changing at this point for a soon to be 30 year old harden

Well that's not what our owner said....in fact he went on record saying "championships" with Harden. It will be interesting to see if he actually backs up his own bravado.

"I know that we're going to rise to the occasion and our time is going to come. James is 30 years old [in August]. ... Hakeem [Olajuwon] didn't win his first championship until [31]. I can promise you, we're going to win some championships with James Harden, because we are not going to sit here. We will go to battle every year. We're going to have a strong offseason, and we're going to do whatever we need to do to be a better team. We are not going to sit on our hands, I can promise you that."

Narrative narrative narrative. He did nothing in the first half. In the second half he did just enough to get them a couple points of a lead. Harden did that too. The offensive and defensive schemes as well as GG Capela and a couple calls gone awry squandered what he built. If Iggy doesn’t make one or two open threes then you call Curry the Choker and Harden the savior even if they do everything the exact same. Illogical.

This is the stupidest thread in the history of clutchfans.

Harden is sensational, truly amazing. However, the Warriors have 4 all stars while we basically have 1. Our second and third best players (CP3 and Capela) were a no show this series. Yes Chris had a great game 6 but that was about it. You're not gonna beat the Warriors with Harden as your only weapon.

The Warriors did everything they could to slow down Harden and he still ended up with 35/6/7/2 for the series. So stop with this narrative already. Stop blaming Harden for the loss. Stop with the choker narrative. The Rockets needed EVERYONE to ball out to their highest potential to even have a puncher's chance for this series. When Clint and CP3 never showed, that chance went out the window.

The Rockets are definitely going to have to make some changes. What are they? I honestly can't say. Do they run it back again with an even older CP3? Do they continue with Clint? With their contract situations it seems like we might be stuck. I do trust Morey though.

But still, we gotta stop throwing it all on Harden. Has he had past moments in the playoffs where he flopped? Yes. But this series you can't blame it on Harden.

The Warriors have arguably the best team of all time. Give them some frickin credit.

Except at closing time he did hit some Clutch shots. He also made some good passes to teammates that didn't make their shots. That was also when he made some Turnovers.

Seriously. If you just read all the “we will never win....” posts you would think that we have consistently been favorites to win the title and haven’t come through.

The reality, we have been at best the 2nd favorite to one of the most stacked teams ever.

The warriors without boogie or kd. A banged up steph. An injured Livingston/iggy are not some best team of all time. They trotted out multiple guys who haven’t even played in this series and the harden led rockets still couldn’t take advantage from the 4th quarter of game 5. They just beat them twice with kd. The clips just beat them twice at oracle ffs. It’s pathetic.

If you can’t beat a team like that for 1 quarter to come home or a full 48 mins elimination game yeah you deserve every bit of criticism coming. You are who they thought you were

I think most on Clutchfans are focusing way too much on offense. It wasn't offense that lost us this series. It was defensive fundamentals.

Go back and count the number of points they had on put-backs or uncontested cuts to the rim.

This analysis of Harden’s series (regurgitating overall series stats) is incomplete and shallow. It wasn’t all harden’s fault, but to say he outplayed curry and Klay every game is utterly ridiculous. Did you watch? If you did, you couldn’t arrive at this conclusion.
