This shot of the play posted by OP is pretty good, but after slowing the clip down and replaying it you can see that Klay was definitely out of bounds. If the refs would have reviewed this, the call would have been overturned. Huge miss there. Next time the Rockets need to be ready to remind the refs to review a play like this in the future I guess..
Hell no. If they don't give harden a foul call when the defender levels him after he releases his floater, they shouldn't call a charge on him after releasing either
If there wasn't a whistle on the play, how can they review it? https://www.nba.com/official/instant-replay-guidelines.html
since Pj's 3 was called down the stretch so should have this. the 2 minute report will show it even though it wont matter now
It was an obvious missed call but it wasn't the reason why the Rockets lost. They had plenty of opportunities to seal the deal once KD went out. No excuses.
from that photo the ball is still on his fingertips. in any case, 29 other teams would have gotten a whistle w/ a review
Of course he was out of bounds. Remember KD in the regular season against us? So blatant, but what can you do.. we should’ve come up with that ball, regardless. Many other opportunities to win that game. It’ll show up as in incorrect call in the 2 minute report, but that doesn’t really do anything for us. Have to turn the page, and play SMART
Why do we have to tell the refs to do their job in the most crucial moments of a game? Of course, we are just whining fans and need to keep our collective mouths shut. Blah blah blah. What a joke.
We didn’t lose because of the officiating. Credit where credit is due: the NBA and their officiating crews have stepped up their game after the whole Game One debacle.
Chris Paul woulda still missed the three to tie so who cares. We won’t win unless he plays better. That might have been the worst game I’ve seen him play offensively. He is soo hesistant out there.
Yeah, this is the most interesting question. More insightful than the cliched "don't blame the ref, blame ourselves" responses.
