A nobody with his first NBA playoff game. Started off with some missed threes but kept at it. Made 3 3s. Showed poise on offense by taking what was given to him, whether it was taking the open 3 point shot, or driving to the basket and making some nice interior passes. Worked hard on defense, both man to man, as well as help defense. Best thing about him? He is not afraid to take those open 3s even when he is missing them. This is HUGE. Our offense breaks down if the open man gives up an open 3. This is why Ryan Anderson is not here anymore. House looked like a seasoned role player out there. The bad news? If he keeps this up, he will play his way out of the Rockets in the summer.
House with the Unassisted Dunk!! Anyone have the chase-down block of Rubio, when House first checked into the game! Here's the nice drive and wrap-around dish
Best thing about House is he gets back after a missed shot.. Forget the Dunk, or the 3's, or the blocks, best moment by House was when he missed a 3 but got back on defense and caused Mitchell to travel.
yea he was off early, but he isnt afraid of the moment. cool and calm like always. made some great passes in traffic that led to dunks also.
fify....and the Best thing about House is he's the complete package role player... as you just demonstrated.
Post game interview, House said he was focused more on his defensive rotations. It showed. His shot was off but his help defense was great to start the game.
He's a nice young player that is playing for a paycheck, God Bless him, especially if he contributes to a Championship! I root for him every night, whether he stays or leaves does not matter at the moment. That's what creates the division on this kid and clutchfans, we can't just enjoy the success? We always have to bring it back to the games he missed, and how he's going to leave if he shines...what do you WANT to happen? The rest is out of our hands....I choose to believe he will be a Rocket beyond this year's championship, but that's me . Go DHouse!
This is what the Rockets didn't have last season. Ariza was embarrassing driving to the rim. And even if he did manage to get there, there was no Faried to dish off to. Nene was decent finishing around the basket, but nowhere near as quick and athletic as Manimal.
He’s trash. Missed some open 3’s and had some stupid fouls. Nobody should take a look at this guy in the offseason. Very raw with little upside.
