This is EXACTLY why people say he’s overrated. With the exception of Harden he has a history of giving up draft picks to sign injury prone players. Anderson was bad but CP3 may be even worse if his health doesn’t improve. As for comparing other GM’s, you can easily look at Boston’s chance of landing AD or another superstar by the way he’s managed the team. Not only has he drafted well but he’s acquired and stockpiled draft picks to land good FA’s. I mean, can anyone really argue that the Rockets future looks bright with an aging superstar sucking up all the cap room while Morey continues to give up draft picks to rid the mistake of Anderson’s contract. I’m all for allowing Morey time to wheel and deal to see what he can do to clean up the mess he created; however, I expect Harden to get tired of this BS if things don’t get better soon. No say he plays out his years in Houston unless the team gets better.

Morey cost us another season with not acquiring a solid backup big man. Small ball sucks against tall people. Other than Harden and Capela, this team truly sucks.
