Insane game. Harden was the only one who could score tonight - everyone else couldn't hit water if they were in the middle of the freakin ocean. 12 assists for the entire game. Rockets needed all 61 points from Harden and he did not disappoint. Unstoppable, unguardable.

People just don’t get how physically strong Harden is. Players don’t want to guard him because it starts to hurt defending someone that is that strong, that draws fouls and hits 3’s so far out. He just wears defenders out and he plays 35-40 minutes a night so there are no real breaks going against him.

So did Capela say anything about how James made him 100 million dollars last off season.... because with Harden, Capela is Samuel Dalembert.

This performance from Harden surpasses his brilliant Knicks night show. Go Harden! Go Rockets!

Nope doesn’t look fat at all. But I figured I’d get that out of the way before someone seriously believes that

C'mon the Bear was a slightly better shotblocker at that.

Geez, busy night, but I made it back for the fourth quarter on the replay, and The Beard just entered the game. So now I get to just sit back and enjoy the best dramatic irony, knowing what the players on screen don't.

    lulz, well, who has?

Does he even know that no one has in 57 years, except Jordan, 63 in an Overtime loss. He had <60 at end of regulation.

And only Elgin Baylor did it besides Jordan, in 1962, scoring 62 points in 48 minutes.

I'm enjoying the growing legend of the single Rocket putting up 13 points in the final minutes of a game to singlehandedly beat the San Antonio Spurs.

    ?

I'm no homer on being dishonest about Harden's travels. I like to call the travels when they occur. But that's just 2 steps. His gather is on the left foot, right is even off the ground. Then he brings right down, steps with left,..shoots.

    Simple, R-L-shoot.

One way to think about the gather is at what point *wasn't* Harden allowed to keep dribbling on that play. He totally would have been allowed to dribble again, until both hands were on the ball. He probably even stuttered his feet to get them in timing with the gather for the 1-2 release.

His gathers are no accident. He times everything around that rule.

Capeala looked gassed towards the end. Harden got 61.

Hoping small ball works going forward. In danuel house we trust!
