And now that the Trade deadline is over. What is going to change?

 

We got the 70 points despite the good defense. That's how good we can be.

 

I feel the same, James made some big shots in the last minutes but he didn't play as well as Chris, his shot selection was just not good and he didn't move the ball enough. Chris did much better and that's why we played clearly better when he was on the floor handling the ball more. But he basically stopped when he got that offensive foul on Adams and from that point he didn't ask/get the ball anymore, eh...

 

We were 3rd seed. But we had Gordon, Lou Williams, Pat Beverly, Montrez(should have played more), Ariza and Prime Nene. Not saying Harden isnt amazing he is, MVP, yea. But we can only do so much with this garbage defense. We were average in defense that year with better players than we have now(with the exception of CP and Tucker).

 

It’s on every player and coach associated with the organization. James Harden was on the court during the 22-point collapse in the third quarter. Also 42 points on sub-40 percent shooting (11-28) isn’t impressive.

 

he handheld it when we were up by 2 with a minute left which resulted in a Paul air ball at the rim after harden had scored a step back jumper seconds earlier . Even after Paul **** up harden still put us up with another jumper.

Would I rather go with a Paul air ball or harden ? call me crazy but the ball needs to be in Hardens hand

 

Nothing was ever going to change. The coaching, the leadership, and the execution has all been inconsistent all season. It’s not changing.

The team is going to be a low seed and be an early playoff exit because they don’t take every game seriously for a full 48 minutes. Consistently can’t close games. It’s just the story of the season.

Maybe next year they’ll return to last year’s mindset. We can only hope. But this year’s team has been a failure.

 

Absolutely correct.... why play 4 on 5 on offense ? PJ standing at the 3 pt. line every offensive possession is a frickin joke.36 minutes and you don't score a damn point...I mean you take 3 shots, one being a 3. Of course you miss all 3. If he's going to shoot one three for the game, get his ass off the 3 point line. If you did, he's have more than 7 rebounds. I mean CP3 had 10 rebounds. PJ can rebound but not from the 3 point line. My goodness.

 

Sigh....yea what can you do. itll be alright though, Harden will learn from it and CP will get better. I think the step back two should be used more in clutch situations now that I look at it.

 

I'm a big believer in driving and kicking at the end of games over standing still and heaving a well contested leaning shot. Those last few possessions probably had Steve Francis blushing.

Harden > Gordon/Tucker/etc but an open Gordon/Tucker/etc > Harden leaning heave

 

Only hope is for Morris to take over Tucker’s spot. Dude can’t even make layups anymore

 

This one is on me guys. I'm being selfish. I'm bad luck at the games this year. I've been to alot of games this year I've only seen like 4 wins. My family literally called me out before the game. Was like nooooo mike dont go..I did n we lost again. That's it folks. Ima suck it up n just not go. I'm really sorry man. This one on me. I knew it but I didnt wanna believe it. Its fact now

That Westbrook game winning layup is a total embarrassment. The Harden floater would've been the game winner last year but this year our defense/rebounding is complete trash.

This makes 3 losses I'm putting on Morey for not signing House

 

This probably isn't even top 5 on worst losses of the year which is saying something.

The damn ball needs to move around more. This game might be up there for most isolations possessions I have ever seen!

It was one possession man, Harden had plenty of those, the point was I just felt better with the rock in CP's hands this game. I felt like could have given us a better shot in that situation.

 

I'm not going to blame this on a guy that gets you over 40 points. It's just ridiculous to think otherwise.

We lost that 3rd quarter because of our defense.
