I mean, we had Ryan Anderson in the same situation...Mirotic is a meh defender but a but better than Ryan. My point in that post was that at least Mirotic was a great fit on offense, while Randle really wasn't while still being a meh defender.

This just makes me wonder why the Pelicans are so bad? They have a bunch of good players.
I doubt Morey is going to get any of these 3. He is trying to save $, so he will look at the buyout market.

HONESTLY ALL THREE WOULD BE A HUGE UPGRADE TO OUR ROSTER.

 

paul and gordon are a lot worse this season and we don't have homecourt in any round. the owner is basically shutting it down from his side and now only harden going for 50 every night is going to allow us to really contend

well fortunately morey had such an abominable offseason that he's had no regrets making tilman's dumping orders a reality

but the real question is -- name a player we could have and didn't acquire this season that could have helped us beat GS (whose payroll dwarfs ours btw). there are many of course. but contending is obviously not tilman's priority here
