He singlehandedly saved our last two wins so I will give a pass

We won, I’m not going to kill something like I do when he’s doing it. I said in the game thread repeatedly to attack. He gets tired and settles. I’m more concerned with the team’s tendency to lose what should be safe leads late.

Beating the Raptors is great, but late-game execution for the Rockets remains absolutely atrocious...

I know they're not, but sometimes it reaaaaallllly feels like they're doing this on purpose:

Ennis getting the board then bouncing the ball off Ibaka's head for the quick turnover, EG stepping out of bounds on the inbounds play, PJ last game...Heart Attack City.

But the Rox always get the W in the end so I guess it's a rather mild heart attack.

EDIT: and they always end up providing cool highlights, like EG's 3 or James' clutch defense

He's whispered in ears before and was disappointed. The success Rivers and Manimal have found with Houston can't hurt Morey's future endeavors building the team, nor the whispering success of James and CP3. Rivers and Faried are the best advertisement I can think of to entice waived and bought out players around the deadline, and this coming off-season. The NBA world is taking a second look at James Harden and the Rockets. The planet has shifted on its axis, the talking heads are spinning, and Morey may not have finished.

"Everyone gather round! Join All-World Star James Harden and the Rockets, and rediscover your career!"

Man we need a wing. Everyone has been saying it, but a Danny Green clone would take this team to another level imo.

But again you’re right, how can you not want a shot at playing with Harden and possibly winning a title. This team when healthy is so damn close I can taste it.

Totally agree. I said a day or two ago that we needed a deadeye shooter in the worst way. That we have guys that can fill it up, but they're streaky. We need a wing that's consistently deadly from distance. I'm hoping that's target #1 on Morey's radar. He found a good jack of all trades in Rivers, and a fine backup center for our system in Faried. Now he has to find the topper. A wing that shoots lights out that doesn't hurt us on defense. Oh, nothing much, right? ;-)

Just now watching the game. Farried looks like a very good fit- wow! Will give great big man depth when CC gets back.

Good to see Harden D-up Kahwai. But damn, that Kawhai is a straight up baller. wish he was with the Rockets- id take him over KD, LBJ, PG, AD, even Giannis.

We have been so cursed vs Toronto for 2 decades. Damon Stoudamire, all kinds if dumb ****.

Any win no matter how ugly is fine.
