My point was that it was only the first game. He’s not In there to make them better, he’s in their to fix the one problem they had, no inside protection/rim runner. I have a feeling the warriors will let the rockets “eat” from three all they want (see 27 threes).
Gallo played first half and I think the warriors only made 4/25 from three, which definitely won’t happen every night....
Rockets going to be eating Boogie and Steph lunch on offense then. Harden and CP3 going to test the thiccness of those ankles on every iso.
Just wanna add that Clippers are 23 in defensive efficiency. They are pretty bad defensively so even more reason not to be so worried abou them.
Why didn't they say it last year? - having HC advantage and still acting like they were the underdogs. Not like Harden has been bad last year.
actually rockets would have 2 best players on the court CP3 when healthy and short term is better than anyone worriers have yes, he is better than both durant and curry (see wcf last year)
Anthony Davis sustained a left index finger sprain on Friday night and is expected to be out approximately 1-2 weeks. Davis hurt his finger in the fourth quarter of Friday's loss to the Blazers. He underwent an X-ray on his left hand afterward, and fortunately, it appears he did not suffer any fractures. However, AD's agent said that Davis will re-evaluate the injury in 3-to-4 days and decide whether he needs to see a hand specialist. The Pelicans play on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of next week, which means AD will miss at least three games. The earliest he will be able to return is next Saturday vs. the Spurs. While Davis is sidelined, Julius Randle and Nikola Mirotic will see their playing time increase and their usage rates spike.
My wife and I stayed at the same hotel as the pelicans in Portland and Davis rejected (pun intended) our picture request. He didn’t even acknowledge us and a trainer was like, “not today.” I’m not saying it’s karma but he did get injured later that day!
