The good news is he can't go to another team, at least from what I understand. At least they view him long-term. Just sucks to miss the games in between though.
Harden can make anyone look good except for Michael Carter Williams. Package him in a trade for another wing who can shoot over 30% from 3. He’ll shoot 39% here. Problem solved.
I kind of figured they would leverage for more money and Morey wouldn't budge. I mean he's had a good run, but it is a small sample size. Before that he was a journeyman. I feel it's a bad gamble on his part.
If they're gonna hope to convert his contract for this season, watch some team snatch him up. He made the best of his time with the Rockets as a starter and teams I'm sure have noticed. It won't surprise me if he's gone for good sooner than later.
House is also hurting himself the longer he holds out . What if Clark and Ennis play very well his place ? I doubt he goes back to starting ..... then you also have Eric Gordon/ rivers to consider . I could easily see a scenario where he's not in the rotation later on in the season ... If the rockets don't budge then he becomes a FA and didn't get PT . No team is gonna give him a big deal based solely on this little stretch here . Now that I know we can simply convert his contract if we need him .... I think the pressure starts building on house ..... GIVEN Clark and Ennis hold it down ; which I think they are capable of
It isn't an if. The only reason House was signed was because EGO and Ennis got injured. Clutchfans forgets the Rockets were playing well with EGo starting and Ennis coming off the bench.. Gary about to show the world he's on Danuel House's level.
Agreed . Granted , I like having BOTH Clark and house . Best case scenario is we lock up house for 2/3 years , ditch Melo , AND bring in more talent . Nunally could be interesting and I would love to have him instead of Melo . I think Hartenstein is about to step up too ..... if he gets a chance . It's amazing how optimistic having James harden makes you
sooooooo if i got this straight... We had House under contract... Then we released him so we could use the spot to convert Clark from a 2 way to a reg contract... Then we signed House to a 2 way deal... We shipped MCW to open a roster spot for House... Then House's NBA eligible time expired without reaching a deal... hmmmm..... sounds to me like Morey really pouched the punt on this one - in a few ways... seems like he was trying to be too cute with things... smh....
****ing trash. **** you Tillman, **** you Morey. Keep on pinchin'. Keep on saving for this mythical super-duper buyout candidate that's gonna choose you over Golden State or LA or Boston or Toronto. #pickofthefreeagents #pickofthebuyoutcandidates #runitback #runasone Good, that's what they get.
he was signed before EG got hurt, but i get your point. they needed to try something since giving up on carmelo didn't solve the defensive issues.
