Outside of an injury-plagued 2002, he hasn't ended the season with an ERA over 3 since 1995. 2001 was also injury-plagued, but he pitched well anyway. His ERA's from 1996 on: 1.89, 2.69, 2.38, 3.00, 2.58, 2.65, 4.81, 2.39. I would take Kevin Brown over any pitcher on our staff except Oswalt.
