Justin Holiday seems to be the most possible one. Stanley Johnson/Dwight Powell would be a great fit but unlikely to be dumped since both DET and TOR are doing great.
Now that would be. But the Heat being so high in salary numbers are another complicated trade partner that we'd probably need a third team for.
Yea McGee would be a nice athletic big to have. I doubt lakers trade Ingram for Melo but McGee for Melo might since they have Tyson Chandler and that rookie center who’s being playing well for them. Pretty much LAL is the only team I see us trading Melo just because Lebron is his friend. Unless another team is thinking to go bunkers and tank. Maybe Charlotte or Atlanta
Someone mentioned some time ago that Melo has reached to Curry too. If LAL really wants him, then perhaps they might give Houston a minor player or a 2nd rounder. McGee would be good for us, but I would be really surprised if he ended up in a Rockets uniform.
There's no way any team gives up a rotation player for Melo. They know we have no leverage and they can just wait for us to buy him out.
...Maybe. I would imagine Melo isn't interested in just any team. It's basically a free agency decision at that point so someone like Lebron is probably passing along intel.
Supposedly the Lakers and Melo = done deal; but, then again, Ariza to the Lakers was a done deal, too. If you wanted to make it a trade, we could yield expirings and first round picks, if the Lake show thinks they’d make a play for....well, for any All Star, if you believe the media. If we added Ingram, we could collect all the guys who fought CP3.
There's a show called "Lucky Number Slevin" where the main character's name is "Slevin" ... that character is played by "Josh Hartnett". Not sure what that has to do with anything, but ...
