This is definitely happening. The Rockets would not waive Zhou Qi to upset their chinese sponsors unless they had another asian player coming back in a trade. Gotta meet the quota.

    I'd rather keep Zhou
than have 'feelings hurt' / always hurt Lin

Remember Tilman is in financial trouble. He needs the Asian $$$ that Lin brings

I can only confirm that there will be at least one BigBum on the roster.

Same, except I think the LOF crap is overblown here. I don’t know if I like the trade though. Do we not think Knight can return to a high level of play? Is Lin a better three point shooter now?

I’d prefer a three and D guy over another pure offense guy.

ATL has a lot of solid pieces that aren’t a part of their long-term plans. Baze, Dedmon, Prince and Lin would all be contributors on this team.

    I’d do:

Knight and a first for Lin and Prince

Knight, Chriss and a 1st for Lin and Dedmon

    Knight and Chriss for Bazemore

    Etc etc

That's all we need another guard that doesn't play any defense and makes bad passes and takes bad shots...

Rockets aren't trying to trade for Lin. The KCP intel is legit though, so if anything it would involve Lin's expiring deal going to Lakers in a 3 team trade.

Lin's TS% is .638. That's higher than Harden and would be the highest of Harden's career... and Harden is extremely efficient. Lin takes good shots and makes them. Great at penetrating. Shooting 40% from 3 and 57% from 2. Averaging 21 pts and 6 assists per 36 minutes. (10.6 pts and 3.1 ast in 18.2 mpg).

His defense is average, but he's a big PG which helps in a switching scheme. And he is averaging 3.9 turnovers per 36 minutes, which is okay.

He would be a nice addition to the bench. And for Brandon Knight? A player who hasn't even played this season and who hasn't played in nearly 2 years? Yeah, Lin would be a pretty nice get.

SOURCE: As part of the Lin deal we are bringing in the Wiz and Memphis.

Dwight and Parsons returning to Houston with Paul being shipped out.

    bigbum told me.
