So it isn't happening. Oh well. Just move on guys. We are stuck with this nightmare of a team. Better try your best to enjoy your season.
Thibs isn't known for resting his players either...... yet he is resting Butler again, less than ten games into the season.
I think this is all public posturing and the deal is done. It involves Gordon picks Chriss and Filler. The teams are waiting for the 31st to trade. The 4 firsts were to show Rockets fans Morey tried everything but had to give up EG and the Wolves are showing their fans that 1) butler is forcing the trade and 2) that they got the best deal they could. Hope I am right. It could involve another Rocket and taking back a bad contract. (Which could be the real hang up) But it’s clear to me that the Rockets team already knows something is up. IMO that’s why they look like they aren’t trying on the court.
The more I think about it, I don't see the Wolves moving one of their best players to a team within the conference that finished with the best record last year. I honestly think they're waiting on an Eastern Conference team to step up.
That makes no sense they should move him for the best deal possible regardless of what team it is. We all saw that this team was a borderline playoff team when Butler sat out last season so its not like they need to worry about facing Butler in the playoffs and regretting it later on that they get eliminated by his new team.
When exactly is the time Knight and Chriss can be traded from (in conjunction with another player)? End of day of the 31st?
Eric Gordon is so cold to start the season. He has shot just 30 percent from the field to start the season
@Codman Mind updating us on the status of the team, i dont even care about Butler, I'd just like to know whats the mindset of the locker room right now.
i bet they told jimmy that theyre close to a deal with the rockets real soon which is why he prolly changed his mind and might play now. why else would he go from "na im gonna sit out till im traded" to "ok, ill play" in one day? lol..
