If I were the NBA GM for a Day there are a few deals I'd like to see made: 'sheed to Dallas. Why not. It's better than the daily (upchuckable) updates. Portland take Wahid and Antawn. THEN make Cuban take back Damon (for the NVE role of last year, and to be rid of him) for Delk and Fortson. Hornets haven't seen Mash this year, and his game just might not fit back in. Wally has never fit in in Garnettland. Ilgauskas is exiled from Cleveland. Get small pieces to fit everywhere to make this three-way work. Paxson needs to engineer an Isaih with either Orlando or Boston. TMac or Pierce for Crawford and Curry or Chandler and Robinson. Magic and C's both need to Suns'size. Kandiman needs to leave where he hasn't been. JPo gets a shot at a ring. That's enough for one day.
Ford's Insider today agreed with me about blowing up Da Bulls... I'd take Chandler. I'd take Crawford. But what would I give up?
Is there a man alive who wouldn't give up everything he had for a shot to be the general manager of an NBA team?
Any of the people who could afford to buy an NBA team. I would be the Rockets GM, and I would trade Francis to GS for Dunleavy, Murphy, and Johnson.
Until the Rox won the Championship. Then everyone would be singing my praises and thanking God that I was the Gm instead of CD.
