Couldn't agree more. I'd love to change to these. I'd like to see a red one, too. Hell, I'd like to see red as our primary color with Columbia Blue (and our steel blue) as secondaries. I love the red chrome helmet floating around.
This feels like the recipe for a classic Texans dud. This franchise has trained me to avoid any real optimism because of their penchant for losing games like this. Save for the still dog s**t pass protection, the rest of the team has looked increasingly good.
I understand the crowd noise is great and all but I think would be awesome to have an open roof night game on national TV. Would be a really cool change-up.
I honestly don't understand how the McNairs don't see the need to hire an OC. What can they be thinking?
They got talked into keeping BOB and you'll never convince BOB to bring in an OC that would actually do the job because BOB thinks he's competent when it comes to running an offense despite all of the evidence to the contrary. You'd basically need to fire BOB to bring in a legit OC
I would think that regardless of what BOB thinks, the owner could simply say......"We are hiring an Offensive Coordinator, period!".
Along with the fact that he still makes rookie HC mistakes. So yeah no real hope in the coaching department
Although Kubiak was never an expert on defense, so it was easier for him to take. Not sure if OBrien can handle giving up what he is supposed to be good at, he resisted letting Godsey go and then took over as OC himself
my heart can't handle brock osweiler getting a win over the texans in nrg. don't do this to us sports gods. we've endured enough this past month.
True but he still lost that battle. Now of course Bill won the war and Smith was fired. What is B'OB going to say to McNair? I run the offense or I quit? Anyways one can hope the McNair can see that the very least the OC needs changing
