If we start Gordon .... we need to keep Melton or make sure he's traded for someone to play backup guard .
uh... nobody has been questioning what pj brings to the team. whether pj starts or comes off the bench means nothing.. he's gonna be finishing games regardless. but i would rather he just play around 26-28 mins a game in the reg season so that he isn't run into the ground before the playoffs.
uhh his starting spot is what people have been questioning which is what my post was about. it shouldn't be bc he absolutely is the best starting 4 on this team. that shouldn't even be a debate
No problem with him starting if that’s what coach thinks is best for the team. But I think coming off the Bench keeps our team strong for 48 in terms of offense. Glad Melo appears to be setting his ego aside for the betterment of the team.
why is being a starter or coming off the bench such an important distinction to you? you and zboy are so obsessed about who's starting in the regular season and who's not.. for no reason whatsoever. i'm pretty sure pj doesn't give a **** whether he's starting or coming off the bench. and like i said, i'd rather not have pj burnt out by game 50 something of the regular season, bc he's definitely starting in the playoff rotation.
why does it matter? Bc i take into account floor balance and versatility. That stuff actually matters in real life. people like you have no regard for any of that and treat it like you're playing fantasy basketball, so don't get offended bc you don't understand it or have no legitimate distinction of it
This whole starting/bench debate is silly......media stirring pots and people taking the bait.....as usually. We got melo for less than 3 mil. It's a WIN
so burn all of pj's minutes in the regular season when we'll be blowing out teams anyways? bc we all know every team goes all out in the regular season and it's so hard.... again with your obsession with starting lineups... if you're gonna argue floor balance and versatility in the starting lineup.. are you gonna be like one of those screaming espn hot take buffoons saying how harden and cp3 can't work? bc eg is a better pairing with either cp or harden nstead of having both harden and cp start. people like you must be eating spoiled milk for breakfast every morning. can't be positive even once.
oh you're one of those minutes police. let us know when you have that bubble wrap ready your posts about balance and versatility make absolutely 0 sense. you're welcome to try again
real life? fantasy basketball? i don't even play fantasy bball bc of how r****ded it is so nice attempt to extrapolate your fantasy life onto mine. you're willing to sacrifice key minutes for crunch time and playoff legs to be able to beat the sacramento kings in game 35 with your "ideal" starting lineup in a slightly meaningful regular season game, instead of saving those minutes for nat'l tv games and the playoffs. and then you'll be back here on cf on game 70 something complaining that mda doesn't rest his players enough...
Everybody stay positive and just believe that the Rockets will win the championship this year. Stop being negative. Thats what we all want right? Lets receive this championship. Go Rockets!!!
do you even ball? at all? bc your take on balance and versatility pretty much was a fantasy take. it's the ****ing regular season. stop thinking everything in a 5 man rotation... a starting lineup doesn't mean the rest of the lineups during the game have to be so rigid. so goddam dense...
