    I totally agree with Stu Jackson.

    Melo has not shown any maturity towards winning or doing what it takes to win, Like come off the bench.
    . This should be where the rockets just pass on him, and trade for a defensive replacement like Batum, and just roll with what they have.

    Lol. Ppl just don't like Melo & don't even know why. He's not coming here to be a defensive stopper. We just need him to compete on defense, and ball out on offense. When it works out all you guys will act shocked. But I'm telling you now this will be a fantastic pick up. The media is just looking for narratives about Melo

    He is being paid the Vet minimum. If he really doesn't work out, he can be shipped out. Give the guy a chance since he is about to wear Rockets Red whether anyone likes it or not. If he really sucks Chris Paul will be the first one to superglue his butt to the bench or pull the trigger to let him go just like Old Yeller...

    Without going into aging superstars (a very long list), or 80s-90s guys like Kevin McHale, Eddie Johnson, John Starks.... I present to you the following... it isn't bad to be a 'good scorer' on a deep team. That counterbalance role matters even more than being a starter, I would say.

    Nah like what I'm saying he's the only player that these shows will have a segment on and they'll keep talking about the bench.

    Let me ask you this.

    Would you rather

    A. Melo adjust his game into Olympic Melo and START plays 30 minutes a night

    B. Melo plays the same game he always has and comes off the BENCH but still plays 30 minutes

    Whats more important? Him coming off the bench or adjusting his game?

    Missing the point again see above.

    He's the only with segments on these shows related to him coming off the bench. That's not whats important, whats important is him adjusting his game to the system and thriving in that role.
