remember why were up 3-2 last year...defense was pretty much the biggest reason

we lost game 7 because CP3 was out and the refs were on some bull****

in the Rockets 3 wins in that series, we gave up 105, 92, and 94...in the 4 losses, we gave up 119, 126, 115, and 101...we lost every game by double figures except for the game we held them to 101

0-27 in game 7 got people forgetting why we had a chance to win that series in the 1st place

the Rockets had the formula, but CP3 went down

Melo will be a first ballot Hall of Famer, The only way Jennings gets into the hall of Fame is to buy a ticket.

He needs to do footwork drills more than shooting or 1on1s. Plenty of lower body work.

8 page thread on a workout? Damn. Dog days of summer.

My takeaway from the workout. Glad he is working out. Better than sitting on his ass.

    Melo the gym rat.

His shot looks wet, but some of those shots were terrible shot selection lol. As far as explosiveness, he looks slightly better than last year.

The key to Melo being effective on this team, isn’t his shot selection or his explosiveness, it’s his ability to move/play off the ball and if he can at least be AVERAGE on defense. That’s all I ask.

Yes.. We had a chance to win the series.. But we lost, because we couldn’t hit a shot. When was the last time Chris Paul not go down in the playoffs. Having Melo will be helpful. People keep putting an emphasis on defense like we are just about to completely lose that identity. PJ Tucker will still be starting as well as Capela and CP3. Come on. Melo is on a minimum contract and will still be a good ball player with elite playmakers. I’m tired of this narrative. People are going off of his last season. Do you guys not see how hard it is to play with Westbrook?

We just need to sign Capela and 3 referees, then we're in business.

You’re not going to convince people unfortunately until they see it

Here’s what I’ll say. I don’t know if I believe in Melo, BUT

I believe Westbrook is a terrible teammate, I believe billy Donovan is a terrible coach, I believe okc was focused solely on PG, I believe in the rockets brass

Thus! I believe this will be a huge win for the rox

Melo was in great shape last offseason and then he got traded to OKC. He stopped working out with Harden and Paul which made him gain 10-15lbs. He was unmotivated because he knew OKC is a cellar dweller. He'll be in much better shape this year.
