Bucks wasted an asset not being able to move Jabari for something when they had the chance.

Have to agree with @BackdoorHarden here, for all the hype 2014 got, it honestly might be an inferior class to 2013.

Jokic-Embiid-Capela vs Giannis-Oladipo-Gobert are about equal
Who is the 4th best player from 2014 tho? Aaron Gordon? Rodney Hood? Gary Harris? Are any of them as good as CJ McCullum?
I guess what we learned from both drafts is to avoid picking Canadians #1 overall, Bennet became the GOAT bust and Wiggins will be lucky to catch Michael Beasley.

Its only low-risk because expectations are so low that even if the move blows up in their face (similar to Jabari's ACLs), they don't suffer too much in opportunity cost.

It's a low risk move because it can't blow up in their face. They needed to add salary to reach the NBA team minimum and this gets them within striking distance. There is a 0% chance they exercise the option in 2019.

For the record, don't rule out the Bulls signing two max players next summer.

Jabari reminds me of Jeff Green.

(Wiggins isn’t a bad player at all. Not sure why he is getting so trashed in this thread. Michael Beasley? LOL...)

I think Giannis the best player from those 6 players so I think that should tip it toward the 13 class. Neither Jokic nor capela has made an all nba team. Dipo, Golbery, and giannis have.

Dipo made all NBA over CP3?
These are the same people who said Dame was all NBA 1st team tho so I'm not even surprised.

Wiggins plays defense. Full stop on that comparison.

Michael Beasley is actually the opposite of what Wiggins brings. An isolation-scoring behemoth, but with the tiniest IQ of just about anyone we have ever seen, and certainly one of the worst positional defenders of the last age.

Wiggins has far more tools to be a long-term, productive role-player that can get you 20-5 with B+ defense.

BUHAHAHA Wiggins plays defense, some people. Dude's like J.R Smith at his prime. Chucker without defense, passing, rebounding, just ****ing overhyped and terrible.

I think they were open to resign him back in February. Then Parker started publicly badmouthing the team and the coach during the playoffs.

Jabari can still be a great player. No reason to think otherwise. Can't judge a guy based on his play coming back from 2x acl tear and playing for coach Kidd.

Last I checked, he was an improving shooter and still as explosive as ever. Very quick.

Bulls are going to have a fun young team with Dunn, Lavine, Jabari, Markaneen, WCJ. They're going to need some serious coaching though

I don't see that at all.

Jimmy Butler has made him largely obsolete, but IMO it is pretty early to start calling him JR Smith or Beasley.

    (But that's just me)

    The Bulls are weird.

They had a good draft last year and a great draft this season. The Bulls got a borderline all star to play the 5 for years to come with their first pick and a really good talent/sleeper with their other pick.

They spend the off season ripping Dunn. They then grossly over pay a chucker in LeVine and sign Parker over getting draft picks for taking on an expiring contract.

Why not just rebuild with Markkanen, Carter and a couple others. Let LaVine leave and not sign Parker. Use the cap space taking on deals like Denver offered ( #1 & #2) and the Thunder (#1) and also get your own pick in the lottery.

So the Bulls could have gone into the next off season with 3 #1 picks, including a lottery pick and 40+ million in cap space....

Instead they are doing the same crap they did during the Gordon/Heinrich years.

Markkanen/Carter/Parker/LeVine/Dunn will be good enough to make the playoffs and if Parker improves they can push for 50 wins.... but that’s it... never any better.

Meh, I don’t think a lottery pick and two late firsts in a weak draft is worth making your fanbase suffer through another awful season. With LaVine and Parker healthy (?) they’ll be entertaining.

If they make the playoffs that will be at least what GarPax aimed for. But in my opinion the most likely scenario is that they finish at the 10th or 9th position, miss the playoffs and get a lower pick.
The starting lineup of Dunn/Lavine/Parker/Markannen/Rolo(?) will be extremely bad defensively. Bottom 5 for sure.

I see Detroit with Casey and Miami better than the Bulls. Maybe even Charlotte.
