So it sounds like what OKC is trying to do is trade Melo to a team that would send them back a contract of lesser value and then THAT team would dump Melo. Is there a team out there that needs cap space NEXT year with some 2 year deal of lower value they could ship to OKC?
Lots of you don't want him, but with him on the squad last year, I strongly believe he would have helped push us over the hump in Game 6 or Game 7 against the Warriors.
I don't think he will want to join the Rockets. The Lakers will suffer a great deal if he signs up with them.
True though I can't shake that feeling that Melo no longer cares about anything...other than starting of course lol
This was Moreys plan all along . The release of ariza to make room for melo. He will start if he comes here. Lets just hope we get Olympics melo.
Bigger payday if he works out really well here. Or go play around Kuzma / Ingram who will eat up a lot of his minutes but he will be on the news daily cuz of Lebron and probably doesn’t need to buy a home.
Not at all. Unlike Ryno, Melo has a midrange and inside game & and at his age he's still more athletic than Ryno and can hit the three from the same distance.
only makes sense for this team if he accepts a limited bench role. Which is obviously an issue in itself. Bringing him as a replacement for Ariza is a disaster
paging potato head. also this time last year we were praying for this guy, weird how much can change in one season
We lost Ariza and have no replacement. Luc hasn't resigned yet. Go for Melo. Or we can play the entire season with one established compentent forward and pray that the rook becomes an NBA ready player or Zhou Qi turns into the second coming of Dirk. I'm not even mentioning Anderson that dude has the yips for life, no hope for him.
