How it happens, not sure Sign LMAM vet min Trade Anderson + whatever for Love Hope Melo gets bought out and sign for min Sign Avery Bradley or Ellington at MLE don’t believe the defense would drop off that significantly. It’s gotta be Tyreke Evans. He’s the best player left (by far) in unrestricted free agency. He gets the rest of the MLE. Then Morey surprises everyone by getting us a couple of young(er) guys who showed major improvement last year on vet minimum deals: Kevon Looney and Shabazz Napier If this is what Morey does, I could get down with it. Evenmoreso if we can manage something in return for Ariza through S+T. Looney is only 22 and showed he fits the switchy system well against us in the playoffs last year. I think he could develop into something like Capela with a few years in our offense and some health luck. Napier was always talented but never put it together until last year. He doesn’t have size and isn’t a defensive stalwart but he could be the all-around point guard off the bench to spell CP. He’s no VanVleet but he’s similar.
Sixers pursuing Luc with their remaining cap space so he's likely gone. Avery Bradley just got picked up by the Clippers for 24mil/2years (lol MLE) I wouldn't be surprised at this point to wake up tomorrow morning and seeing Tyreke Evans has signed with the Warriors.
