ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 5/20/2018 (Western Conference Finals, Game 3)

Houston deserves better than this lazy effort. At least act like you want to win. As soon as I saw James walking the ball up the court in the first quarter and Chris Paul running to the corner watching, I knew it was over. We can't expect one player to win this game. Almost like we were playing to lose.

 

I am super pissed atm...not because they suck, BECAUSE I KNOW THEY WENT TO THE CLUB LAST NIGHT.

 

We were just playing soft.

Its just one game. Stay calm.

We still have 2 games to play soft like a$$.

 

i think everyone a bit disappointed but hey its not like they even put any effort out there. So who's to blame.

 

Of course, good leader should not allow this happen, did u watch it?

 

The nice thing about games like this is the next one starts 0-0 after tip off. If the Rockets win game 4 by even one point then game 3 will be a mere footnote. All this game tells me is neither team is playing great at the same time when they win. When the Warriors win it's by a blowout. When we win, it's by a blowout. The Rockets are just as capable of getting a 20+ point blowout in game 4 and running up the score.

 

Harden is a great player. He is not a great point guard. Why is he playing more point than perhaps the most natural point guard in the league?

 

Shades of game 7 against the Mavs.

 

On the one hand, I agree with this. On the other hand, that game made me want to gargle sand for 3 hours.

 

Honestly, this is the best thing for the Rockets. They were embarrassed, they are the laughing stock, etc. .

Now, if you can't come back from this game and at least be competitive, then you have no business going to the Finals. Period!

 

I'm not saying to play him. What I'm saying is if you're in there in garbage time and u get a pass at the 3 pt line SHOOT THE MOTHERFUKING BALL.

 

Really hope the refs get called out

 

WOW, that game went through my mind too. And game 6 versus the Spurs. Sometimes the entire dam just breaks.

 

Clint playing 22 minutes is ridiculous. No Clint means no chance.....period.

 

Uh Bradley Beal is a separate situation that has nothing to do with Kawhi but the playoffs are still going on by draft night you will see exactly what i said is coming to the light. RC Buford is paranoid because he has never had a player push back against some of the organizations policies but if you read that same article you would no that Pop and Kawhi are still very close.

 

Well the team seems to like playing better when they have to lol

4th most points allowed
4th most turnovers

 

13 free throws for the Rockets

12 for Steph in 32 for the Warriors.

Not the entire reason we got smashed but it contributed...

 

I agree, touch fouls on one end and uncalled karate chops on the other end - but we can't use a 40 point loss to go after the refs. It's too easy to discredit.
