Let PJ come off the bench. Have Eric chase Klay while Ariza tries to stay with Durant. You can say in half court we switch everything on defense anyway but switching to get the matchup they want takes time as it did to us plus PJ wasn't doing anything special to Durant that EG won't do. it's a wide open jump shot 4 or 8 inches doesn't matter. EG is struggling shooting 3's from the arc but the corner 3 is a much easier shot and he would knock that down all day and good luck to goldenstate if they try to run him off the 3 point line cause that would lead to a layup. We don't need major drastic changes just vary our offense a little, push when we can and get into our half court set sooner. With EG & Ariza playing saftety at the corner they will be honest. They know PJ tucker can't bury them but they dare not leave EG.
It wasn't the Hamptons 5. It's the Durantons 1 we have no defense for. They don't even need a switch he can shoot over the entire league.
Agreed. Let Green and Anderson (?)bring offense off the bench. Id like to get Anderson 6-7 3 point attempts.
We should stop switching everything and trap Durant on the pick and roll. Miami did this to him in the championship a few years back and it worked well.
I like it too, I know PJ is a professional but I cant help but feel like it would be a huge blow to his confidence to take him out of the starting lineup.
I actually kind of like this. GS doesn't have a huge post guy for pj to defend, which is his specialty. We're probably going to send a double at kd anyway, so EG and cp3 won't be on a island with kd anyway. And pj will still see his fair share of kd when he checks in, either for Clint as a backup 5 or at the 4
I kind of agree in a sense. That or the switch needs to happen sooner rather than later. I kind of like pj tucker on draymond though. Fight fiesty with fiesty.
Sadly even with EG starting to counter GSW death lineup. We don't have the talent. 2 HOF players vs 2. KD and NBA not having Cap smoothing destroyed the NBA & created a dynasty.
