Honestly? Not even too mad about this result. Harden played amazing but can’t withstand Durant/Thompson onslaught.

Ariza picking up his 5th on that ridiculous call was the turning point in the game.

This team is going to need some serious Mastered Ultra Instinct ****, because clearly regular Ultra Instinct isn't going to cut it.

 

there was a play where tucker went after either iggy or green and left curry. someone else barely got to curry and nothing happened, but i just couldn't believe it. read the damn scouting report.

 

Luc and Tucker being limited on offense allows them to lay off us. Their versions r iguodala and Thompson... whom r both just better players offensively. Luc has multiple open 3’s and just missed them. Klay missed maybe 1 open 3? Not sure we have much of a chance in this series. If Durant tears his ACL maybe we have a chance? Maybe that’ll be hit fate after leaving Russ and ruining his legacy.

 

Nope, Harden is never going to take open shots because he's the primary scorer on his team. How many open shots you see Kobe or MJ take? You taking Klay over them? Klay can't even do what Harden does.

Klay is just a souped up Rip Hamilton. On any other team he'd be a fringe all-star player. Harden is at least two tiers above this guy.

 

I'm fine with losing as long as Harden shows up.

 

If he made his shots we win.

 

yea , I don't feel bad. We got screwed by Tony Brutha and Scott Foster child, 25 ft and 21 ft for Rockets and we're supposed to be home team

Harden, EG, CP3, Clint all produced. So we got everything we wanted from our Big 4. Unfortunately everyone else sucked. Role players especially Luc and PJ lay an egg.

We just can't overcome cheaters with 4 All Star and Hall of Fame. CHEATERS

Anyone super depressed atm? I feel like sitting naked inside a shower atm...dam rockets.

 

Can't guard Durant 1 on 1 with anyone, much less short guys. So I think next game you gotta open the flood gates for him by playing Ryno and use height to get a hand up on the mid range and 3s. If he cooks Ryno on the drive all night. That's preferable. As it'll hopefully tire him out a little more. If Durant goes for 50, so be it. Just gotta keep everyone else locked down and the Rockets got a chance.

 

Okay you double Durant. Then whoever is doing the doubling is wide open. Durant is in fact very hard to double because he can see and pass over your defenders and find the open man.

 

Nba tv just had stinking Joe Borgia on to explain some controversial or 50-50 calls.

No mention of that backcourt violation

 

Klay would not be an all star as a first option.

He can’t create and teams would just go over the top of his screen every time.

 

Same, tbh I don't think any amount of t*tties and booze is gonna make me happy till we win the next game.

 

Actually Draymond is the difference maker. You can't stop Durant from getting his shot off. Klay is good because he doesn't get the number one defensive player and he gets open looks because of the attention Curry and Durant get

 

We were a good PJ Tucker or Trevor Ariza or Gerald Green performance from being in this. Problem is I can’t imagine Harden playing this way every game.

Unfortunately we bring out the best in the Warriors. I think most games will be competitive but can’t see this series being long.

 

Way to many missed calls from the refs. The backcourt and carry on Curry was at key moments and didn't get called. 5 fouls on Ariza was.. questionable at best.

Outside that, players outside Harden must do better. Way to many missed open threes. You must punish teams for leaving an player wide open.

The Rockets need shot makers...Gordon disappeared. Sad really...b/c this was the issue since the Allstar break if Im not mistaken. And when his shot isnt going down...forgot that he should be attackin the rim.

The OTHERS need to show up or this is done done......Stinks that Harden had to drop 40...Paul with 23...AND NOTHING from the others.

One more point to note...This is the kind of game that Carmelo couldve gotten buckets in the post. Morey was right to pursue him, and he might have had success here...b/c God knows how Ryno has been collecting those checks from the bench...
