you'd think all these years of wanting to bring the uggs way to Houston we would have one of those cool white teleporting leprechauns as a slot receiver by now. Labhart was the only attempt at it.
I think Braxton, Strong and Mumpherey were drafted to be in the slot. Also the TE we got this year is like a big slot wr. Hopefully we finally solve the position. Ellington was solid last year
Strong was never going to be a slot receiver but point is noted. They’ve missed on so much it’s hard to get excited about any picks. Oline and wide receiver in particular have been bad
Its a draft thread... WTF did you expect to see in here. Its to discuss the potential and usage of a draftee. On another note: Watson is gonna tear up the league and my potential fantasy points roof is the ceiling.
Oline has been bad I agree on you that, but in WR, its tough to drafted a really great one, in the 2017 there was 32 WRs, and only 2 were really good (juju Smith-Schuster and Cooper Kupp), in 2016, 4 WRs were selected in the 1st rd, and Fuller is the only one that had some flashes, and with Deshaun he really was good.
Like the pick. Guy seems like he just isn't a fly down the field receiver, and can catch and go with crossing patterns. Maybe we get lucky and he's the next Eugene Marquis Hilton...
But let’s be honest here... While there may be people on the site that actually watch film, no one truly knows how any player in this draft will do. There are so many factors that play a part in whether or not these kids find success at the next level. Doesn't mean that we cannot discuss things as the draft unfolds, but it’s beyond ridiculous for people to kill a certain player or an entire draft before they’ve even played a single snap.
I wish more people were like you and admit that none of us have a clue on what any of these mid-late round guys will be.
